Jin

Jin is Allah’s creatures made from fire. Jin mentioned in Quran (surah Al-Jin) and hadith.

Like humans, they are created to worship Allah.

And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. (QS Ad-Dzuriyat : 56)

Like humans, there are believer and disbelivers jins.

And among us are the righteous, and among us are [others] not so; we were [of] divided ways. (QS Al-Jin : 11)

Lucifer (Iblis) is a jin. That is why Jins are called bani Iblis and humans are called bani Adam.

And [mention] when We said to the angels, “Prostrate to Adam,” and they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was of the jinn and departed from the command of his Lord. Then will you take him and his descendants as allies other than Me while they are enemies to you? Wretched it is for the wrongdoers as an exchange. (QS Al Kahfi : 50)

Satan can be human or can be jin.

From the evil of the retreating whisperer -Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind -From among the jinn and mankind. (QS: Annas 4-6)

Jins eat bones and dirts, they live in holes. (HR Bukhari)

Jins help Prophet Sulaiman AS to bring the throne of Queen Bilqis.

Solomon] said, “O assembly [of jinn], which of you will bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?”A powerful one from among the jinn said, “I will bring it to you before you rise from your place, and indeed, I am for this [task] strong and trustworthy.” (QS An-Naml 38-39)
